Russia New Zealand Education — Robyn Jones

A graduate of the University of Auckland and on the executive committee of the Russia New Zealand Business Forum, Robyn has particular responsibility for heading up the education division of the company.

With a background in marketing, experience in bringing new products to market, and business experience in Asia, North America and Europe she brings wide experience to the role of linking people and developing education, tourism and trade.

She works closely with the Russian Consulate, Russian Embassy and Russian Ambassador; and is frequently called upon to represent their interests at wide ranging events and functions, and has developed extensive relationships with education representatives in both countries.

She has hosted numerous visits to New Zealand by representatives from Russia, and has lead
New Zealand representative visits to Russia.

Robyn Jones

1993 — From North America sourced and launched a new concept in fine art in both Australia and
New Zealand and developed network of distributors in Australia and New Zealand Also organised and ran large trade show exhibition stands.

1995 — Built up a publishing enterprise including publishing of products for fine arts and edited a major art magazine that continues to be a significant component of the art scene.

2002 — Launched a new sustainable packaging concept from Asia at the Sustainable Business Conference.

2005 — Head of Mission for the 2005 Education Providers Mission to Moscow and St Petersburg. Principals and International Directors from leading NZ schools and Institutions.

Organised the Study Quiz on NZ among Russian schools and the Presentation Event at the
New Zealand Embassy and brought together major corporate prize sponsorship including an
international airline and scholarships from major educational institutions.

2006 — Created and coordinated the filming schedule and activities in NZ for the award winning programme In Search of Adventure.
